Heads of Event Department

I am Lea Wolff I am 23 years old and I am studying cultural studies and social sciences at Viadrina.

I joined Interstudis 2 and a half years ago and am now for the second time in the Event Ressort. It makes me happy to be a part of exchange students experience and I try my best helping to make it a great one.

I love traveling and have had 4 stays abroad by now, some for work and some for studies. I have a special interest in Latin America and have lived some time in Costa Rica, Mexico and Colombia. I speak German, English and Spanish but would love to learn more languages! I am a very open and communicative person and I enjoy getting to know people from different countries and with different perspectives.

My name is Tezdzhan Miermeister and I am one of the Heads of Event Team.

I was born in a small city in Bulgaria, called Targovishte. I grew up in three different cultures (Turkish, Bulgarian, German) and I am very proud of it. I picked the best characteristics from each culture, mixed them and build a new culture for myself. ;)

At the Viadrina I am studying German law. I cannot say that studying law is easy, but no one said, that it will be easy. I really enjoy it, especially criminal law.

One of the reasons, why I decided to enjoy Interstudis is, that you can meet students from around the world and learn new cultures. You can also learn new languages or improve your language skills. I can speak some languages (Turkish, Bulgarian, German, English, some French and Polish) and I would like to improve them. Another reason is, I love organizing events, particularly trips. In my free time, I like to visit new or popular places in Germany but also around the world.

Berlin is a big city to visit with a lot of places and these places should be discovered by exchange students. I can say only one thing: Enjoy our team and you will see the beauty of the world.

“The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page.” – Saint Augustine
